Internet Safety For Everyone

Our Mission

Internet Safety For Everyone was founded in 2018 by a group of high school students from San Diego, California. Our goal is to raise awareness about internet safety and cyberbullying from a teenager’s perspective and provide education to students and people with special needs in our community.

Currently, we're focusing on the following areas:
  • Promote internet safety awareness and education through in-person workshops
  • Provide online internet safety resources and tutorials
  • Understand current trends for teen internet use through our ongoing Community Internet Safety Survey

Community Outreach Event -
Carmel Valley Middle School

We hosted a cyber safety workshop at Carmel Valley Middle School for middle school parents on Thursday, February 20th from 5:30 PM - 7:30 PM. The workshop is designed for parents to learn about the tools available to set up smartphone controls as well as inform them about the current climate of teen internet use. This workshop also addressed safety and privacy concerns on popular social media apps such as Instagram, Snapchat, and TikTok. Participants were encouraged to bring their and their child's devices for a hands-on experience in finding and setting the right controls for their family's needs.

Take Our Survey!

In order to make a difference in the cyber safety of children and specifically help our community and our schools, the Internet Safety for Everyone team has designed a survey intended to understand and evaluate how cyberbullying and online interactions affect kids and teenagers.
